Use Cases
DeviceDesk uses Amazon SP-API for the following use cases:
- Order import and processing from Amazon marketplaces
- Inventory synchronization with Amazon listings
- FBA workflow management and shipment creation
- Shipping label generation via Amazon Buy Shipping
- Tracking information updates to Amazon orders
- Fulfillment status notifications
Requested API Roles
DeviceDesk requests the following SP-API roles to support the above use cases:
- Orders: Read and manage orders, including GET_FLAT_FILE_ORDER_REPORT_DATA_SHIPPING
- Inventory: Read and update inventory levels across listings
- Fulfillment Inbound: Manage FBA inbound shipments and inventory
- Shipping: Generate shipping labels via Amazon Buy Shipping
- Notifications: Receive webhook notifications for order and inventory updates
